VOTE GORDON WEATHERS FOR Presiding Commissioner
Action. Accountability.
A Stronger Stone County.
Gordon Weathers is honored to serve Stone County as Presiding Commissioner after being recommended to Governor Mike Kehoe by the Stone County Republican Central Committee, appointed in September 2025, and confirmed by the full Missouri Senate in January 2026.
Since taking office, Gordon has been focused on action, accountability, and meaningful change, especially on key issues like planning and zoning. He believes leadership means listening, which is why he has already had more than 100 face-to-face meetings and holds monthly coffee meetings where any citizen can come share their thoughts on county issues.
Gordon believes the strength of Stone County comes from its people, the families, neighbors, and businesses who call this community home. With a heart for service and a common-sense approach, he is committed to protecting our values, planning wisely for the future, and keeping Stone County moving forward.
